Ginger has long been used and well researched for digestive symptoms, especially nausea and vomiting. It helps the movement of food through the digestive tract from the stomach to the small intestine and into the large intestine, which is why it is also known to be supportive for those with constipation or small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). It has the additional benefit of protecting the gut barrier and maintaining its integrity which is really important when considering immune resilience for the months ahead.

Grate ginger and lemon into warm water and drink first thing and throughout the day, add ginger with shallots and garlic as a base to fish/chicken dishes.
